Motivation
The Project Networking track of ESWC offers an excellent opportunity for research projects to connect, collaborate, and engage in meaningful discussions about their development and outcomes. This track encourages the sharing of knowledge and technology, and it helps to identify complementary activities and goals, laying the groundwork for future collaborations, joint research proposals, researcher exchanges, or collective participation in events and initiatives.
By participating in the Project Networking track, you will:
- Disseminate valuable knowledge about your project to a wide audience.
- Share and discuss your project’s requirements, insights, and results (e.g., data, technologies) with other participants.
- Explore potential collaborations for future funding opportunities, such as Horizon Europe and ERC.
We invite submissions from:
- Concluding projects: Projects that have recently finished or are about to finish and are ready to transfer or disseminate final results.
- Ongoing projects: Projects that are actively seeking methods, datasets, or tools, and are interested in networking to exchange know-how and expertise with other projects and partners.
- Upcoming projects: Recently approved projects that have not yet started but are looking to establish collaborations, gather insights, and engage with partners even before the official kickoff.
The only essential requirement is that your project must have a strong and clear connection to the core topics of ESWC.
Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your work and form impactful connections within the ESWC community!
Track organisation
The selected projects will have several opportunities to engage during the ESWC 2025 conference:
- Minute Madness: Each project will have the chance to deliver a brief, impactful pitch during the “minute madness” session, designed to quickly capture the attention of conference participants and spark interest.
- Poster Session: Each project will be provided with a dedicated space to display a poster that outlines key project information. This session offers a valuable opportunity to discuss the project with other attendees and establish connections for future collaboration.
- Project Networking Lunch: Presenters from the selected projects will be invited to a networking lunch, where they can further discuss potential cooperation, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration in a more relaxed setting.
These sessions are designed to foster meaningful interaction and help amplify the visibility and impact of your project at ESWC 2025!
